I have been studying reading on this issue and find it very controversial, I feel more calm on the cyano for my last two inj. and have been on the methyl b12 because I read I had to take that only but I realized it was on sites that were selling vitamins. does anyone have any information or use cyano with these genes?

Whether you have an MTHFR variant makes no difference to what kind of B12 would be most suitable for you. You do not "need" methylcobalamin and its not the only type of B12 that will work for you. If a site or source is telling you this they are probably trying to sell you something (as you found).
MTHFR variants affect the processing of folate. Outside of rare variants which cause severe illness in infancy, most MTHFR variants result in very slightly lower serum folate than normal (avg 16% lower according to CDC article above).
Experts/Researchers in MTHFR do not generally recommend genetic testing for MTHFR in adults as it provides no more useful information than testing folate status.
I have several of the MTHFR variants and, like you, became alarmed when I started reading the incorrect information found online. I was reassured when I read this from 23 and me blog.23andme.com/articles/o...
thank you for this great information, now I feel a lot better and prayers answered. Also I take a folate that is from food in my multi that I have to take through out the day cause my stomach is still pretty weak. I did try methyl folate and I felt so wired and awfull I had to lay down for a long time then I tried folinic acid and same thing then I read they can have this affect on some people. and I can eat other fortified foods to now and not worry about folic acid so much since i'm taking the folate. I used to eat vegies like crazy when I wasn't all sick with PA and started the gastritis now if I eat just vegies or nuts I have a lot of stomach issues, I hope later that will change. thank you for your replies it means a lot to me
