Curious. . . . . Cobalamin Germany

OldmanD profile image
24 Replies

I see people regularly ask where to get Cobalamin injectables and I see pharmacies mostly in Germany

I also see all kinds of instructions about how to get the delivery address correct which seems a bit of an uphill battle for some

I use Amazon.de. . . . . . Am I the only one . . . . Am I paying too much for my injectables

I have no problems with paying or address and the slightest problem and Amazon has me refunded

Just curious

Pascoe, Hevert, Ratiopharm etc. . . . . . . Heverts 2ml 1000ug is well below a euro while Pascoe 1ml 1500ug is getting near a euro.. . . . .

Hevert 1000 ug is Cynocobalamin which is not popular in U.K. and cheaper than Hydroxocobalamin. Ratiopharm only manufacture Cynocobalamin .

Also , I’ve noticed that many of the German online Pharmacies that sell through Amazon.de , only sell to EU countries , and not to U.K.

Hevert 1000ug is hydroxocobalamin although in 2ml which some dont like but it is hydroxo. . . . . . . You seem to be correct on UK shipments . . . . I have just tried a known UK address for the above Hevert and amazon.de does not post the there . . . .

Amazon.de does not sell Panpharma at all .

Thank you much. . . . So amazon or some amazon sellers send to the UK. . . . .

wedgewood profile image
wedgewood in reply toBaggy8

Yes , it just depends on which pharmacy is selling ! It’s hit and miss , I’m afraid ,

If using , looking on Amazon.de make sure you are signed in and that the address shown at above left beside Amazon name is the correct address and your searches will show what is available and what if any postage is required. . . . Amazon has all the Brexit, US, regulations well sussed whereas others have either not bothered or got put off in the early days of Brexit when so many didnt seem to know what they were doing and then simply gave up. . . . . I am not trying to promote Amazon but we here were confronted by all sorts of what amounted to nonsense, lies and worse charges including VAT twice on things there should not have been charges on. . . . . From the get go and until this day we can order from Amazon UK or Amazon.de , .it etc and right away it will tell ye whether is is available to here or not . . . . . We have not had any additional charges whereas small sellers have had us caught with such. . . . . . We do order stuff from the EU inc B12 from Amazon.de to friends in UK land without problem. . . . . Any problems notify Amazon and you get a refund or return label. . . .

Most people pay through the American multinational financial technology company known as PayPal.

So, are using the German pharmacy website software and another piece of software. Sometimes, the financial piece of tech, does not have the complete address stored properly. Bits of information has ‘gone missing’. So, if Mr Sherlock Holmes wanted anything his address may come up as Baker, London, 6XE Vereinigtes Königreich

Not everybody knows the Super Sleuth lives at 221B Baker St, Marylebone, London NW1 6XE. U.K.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote his dissertation on Tabes dorsalis which is slow degeneration (demyelination) of the parts of the tracts of the spinal cord. 😉

These patients have lancinating nerve root pain which is aggravated by coughing (Wikipedia)

Sounds frightful. I had only a couple weeks of lancinating nerve pain while my hands recovered but hard to imagine how that could be tolerated near regularly.

I asked a question because I did not know the answer obviously. . . . . I only like to be helpful if possible. . . . . . . I do however call a spade a spade and perhaps I correct when I should let mistakes or innocent misunderstandings be. . . . . . .

I too have paypal. . . . . That would be the company that elon musk sold off which in turn allowed him to make himself rather wealthy. . . . . Brilliant mind that man and right up my street with electrical things which I do understand. . . .

I use Paypal to shop everywhere from Europe to China and including amazon. . . . . I think Payal is very handy. . . . . Very very easy to register on and easy to use which is why it is a leading online payment method. . . . I have others but they are a pain to use.. . . . . . Amazon I found similar. . . . Both give ye the option to choose language and both use very simple logical ABC methods to fill out the details. . . . But we all make mistake which are easily corrected. . . .

Buying from the UK though Paypal or not has turned out to be a complete headache for most things for buyers in the EU and it seems similar for UK folks wanting to buy from the EU. . . . . Something to do with with england not wanting to be part of the EU anymore. . . . .It really is a pain. . . . . I bought loads of little things from UK sellers especially via ebay but today those sellers cannot be assed with the paperwork required to send their goods to the EU so unfortunately for them we cannot use them . . . . Fortunately for others though it forced us to venture outside of that little world to fields further. . . . .

As to address problems with Paypal I have never had a problem with such. . . . . Never seen an address line mixed up . . . . . Paypal has so much experience with cross country, cross continent and across even the Chinese and Japanese language barriers they really seem to know what they are doing but they did have a brilliant guy to start them off . . . . . . Some cheapo computers though might not be doing something right. . . . I wouldnt really know. . . . I am no expert in such. . . . . . I do know computers can make mistakes but those mistakes will be the same mistake over and over. . . . Computers seldom make random mistakes . . .

I have never met a super sleuth. . . .Most are fictional it seems and the very famous portrayed in TV series I found boring and too predictable to be captivating so I watched US made fast food entertainment variety called Star Trek instead. . . . . .It sufficed to do until the next really interesting factual programme came on. . . . .. But I have seen what I suppose is an supper sleuth who caused havoc, told an awful lot of lies which has led to the uk having trouble importing stuff it seems. . . . . Weird hairdo bozo who gave himself what he considered a more powerful name as he thought the several his parents gave him didnt quite do the job. . . . Nice honest family who had the spine to to walk away from their wayward kin. . . . . . I would not know anything about the spine or Arthur Conan Coyle apart from of course his family pretty much came from near right here but I'd imagine his theory on the spine must be painful to read. . . . . I too suffer from lower back pain so pity on anyone who has the mind driven astray with such. . . . . . . And as back pain is mostly nerve main I cannot imagine the suffering of such in the hands, , . , It must make using a keyboad near to impossible or at least cause the user to write things completely out of context at time's. . . . ..

I did however pose a straight forward honest question which I expected straight forward answers and even used the word Curious because despite all the comments about supply of B12 I had not read or noticed any comments as to why one would not use Amazon despite myself mentioning amazon as a potential route. . . . . I have now got a couple of answers that make sense for some specifically uk users not being able to purchase easily on amazon or via amazon. . . . .

Knowing such I really hope that the Panpharma continues to be available to UK users after the effects of Brexit . . . . Personally I didnt buy panpharma simply because I had never heard of panpharma and the brand did not come up on my searches here at the time. . . . . I am sure it is good though and if were easily available at the right price and postage I'd give it a go without a thought. .. . . . But to date Pascoe and Hevert is what is reasonable available to me where I am and only once did I get a short use by date.. . . .

I am very happy with modern software. . . . I think the ability we have today on the WWW has opened so many doors for so many inc my family. . . . . .My son has used what he learned from me to use CAD and took his BA in engineering. . . . i sent him to Tech to learn Autocad and Solid Works while he was doing his A levels at Grammar and he has never forgot it. . . . My daughter also used CAD in housing up until she started a family. . . . . . Although we do have to manage to navigate our way around con artists at every turn but google etc is great at telling us who is a con artist but we do have to ask google . . . . . . The advent of the PC and later laptops released me from a cage as I could neither write nor read cursive so my english education instead of being education was nothing more than abuse at best. . . . The teacher was a little pig of a man . . . . I have always read though. . . . . Since the early 2000s I have availed myslef of further education which would have been impossible in my youth and impossible without software more or less.. . . . C&G was a big enough battle in my teens but I made sure never to mention my problem in college as some teachers/instructors take pride in using a disability to belittle people . . . . . . Enough of a personal ramble . . . . .

Thank you for telling me. Yes, some teachers are frightful. Lovely OldmanD about you teaching your son CAD. You must be proud of both children.

I had a high impedance air gap means I forgot to turn the machine on 🤣

I like your " air gap". . . . . . I had little but air gaps before I got B12. . . . . . Couldnt think straight. . . . . . . I could not even remember electrical abbreviations I had worked with for years . . . . . .
