Moving from 0.5 ml daily to 1ml EOD?

Hi everyone . I've posted previously about me using Dr Myhill's 30ml hydroxo; now that trial has gone ok I'm going to order the 1ml vials from apohealth.

However I'm wondering dosage... I'm currently injecting 0.5ml daily, but the vials are 1ml. Does anyone have experience of trying to move from 0.5ml daily to 1ml EOD? I know I just need to try it but it'd be comforting to hear anyone's experiences. My worry is I'll not be able to last 48hr and I'll end up injecting the 1ml daily, which will be more expensive than the 0.5ml from the 30ml bottle.

Is there an optimum daily / EOD dose to aim for?

Everyone here’s frequency is different, I need to practically inject everyday. Sometimes, I inject twice, depends on activity, if I have my period. I listen to my body. It is symptom dependant.

Okay, I hope you can understand some maths because brain fog can be pretty special. (I suffer from it).

So, look at the mg in the mls. Dr M’s 30ml bottle would have been 1 mg. The drug calculation turns out to be you injecting 0.3 ml.

You were receiving 1 milligram of hydroxy.

Now, you have hydroxy which is 1mg in 1 ml.

If you had a headache in a hospital and could take paracetamol on your drug chart, I do not write 2 tablets. I write 1g.

My grandmother can only tolerate a small dose of this drug, so I only give her 500 mg (1 tablet or half a dose).

Regarding expense, please remember how you felt before treatment and how long it took to get diagnosed. Then commence treatment.

For myself, one private doctor was concerned for my finances, it was my 3rd time I had presented to her. I simply asked her, What price would you put on your health ? She was a triathlete and could not answer. Lots of people cannot.

Last year, I asked the very question on here. People had re-mortgaged their homes, spent their life savings and gone without any luxuries. We become so desperately ill that we are fighting to stay alive. I was practically bed bound for 6 months.

Thank you for your reply 🙏Yes I realise everyone's different, I'm just feeling lost as I've just completely lost track of what I've read about dosages / protocols.

Dr Myhill's bottle says it contains 1000mcg per 1ml. I've been injecting 0.5ml daily. So I understand it to be equivalent to the 1000ug/ 1ml Panpharma ampules.

Conversion of measuring units is difficult for me. As is dealing with different concentrations. I made two major errors in my calculations in the past.

My Dr Myhill's Hydroxocabalamin 30 ml vial has a concentration of 1 mg/30 ml. Listed as 1000mcg/30 ml Which does work out to .03mg/ml. If I happen to have a different concentration of Dr Myhill's Hydroxocabalamin than the below would not be applicable and ignore it as it would just add confusion to an already difficult task.

A different way to express it would be that if I injected 1 ml per day of my Myhill's Hydroxocabalaminfor for 30 days I would have injected 1 mg of B12. Or if I injected Dr Myhill's Hydroxocabalamin .05 ml per day for 30 days I would have injected .5 mg of Hydroxocabalamin.

I personally convert on paper ug and mcg which are the same thing to mg. I have banished ug and mcg to try an retain what little sanity I have left. 🙂

Conversions quite fog boggle me. I usually understand, it took some more working things out to reassure myself 1ml is 1mg, important as I have a Dr Myhill vial as back up.

That's what I understand too, that 1ml is 1mg for the Dr myhill 30ml vial

Boggle is a good description.

1ml is 1 mg if and only if the concentration is 1 mg / 1 ml.

It may be Dr Myhill produces a different products. The Dr Myhill that I used and still have he vial is 1mg/30ml. or .03 mg/ml.

I used Oxford Bioscience which comes in a screw top 10 ml vial with the 40 mg of B12 as a powder in the vial which is mixed with 10 ml of saline which results in a concentration of 4 mg/ ml.

Seeing the B12 as a powder which weighed 40 mg (which is very minute) and mixing it with the saline liquid which I measured as 10 ml. helped me to visualize it.

If I wanted to inject 1mg of B12 with the Dr Myhill vial I have with the concentration it was delivered in I would have to inject the whole 30 ml vial.
