Hi, Just a quick question I was wondering about. My b12 stays consistently on the number 1460! I hear of some people with 5000!
Does the number indicate anything helpful with gauging how much b12 your body may be needing etc ? It does not seem to move from whatever amount of b12 I am having. Thanks

Once we start self-injecting , B12 readings will be high , as they should be if you have P.A., as Nackapan says . Mine is totally off-scale . It’s nothing to worry about . It’s the figure that your body has settled for . It has no deeper meaning . You cannot overdose .
Just to add my 4 cents (used to be two cents but you know, inflation) and another reference, both Nackapan and Wedgwood have it completely right. 1460 is probably the max reading at the lab you're using. Mine has been max'd at 2000 for three years now.
Mine has been high too- there is a rare problem that causes too high B12 but since we know where it is coming from (supplementing) there is no point in testing since it does not give useful information.
