Hi, I was diagnosed with PA a year ago. I've got a vibrating in my feet like a mobile phone on vibrate, is this normal. Also just received my b12 injection and I've been in agony with my legs especially and my other joints. When I wake in the morning my hands are numb. Has anyone else suffered this. I'm also on blood thinners and have hypothyroidism and had 2 pulmonary embolisms.

With any change in your symptoms its worth getting them checked out especially with your other health problems.

I can relate to aching joints waking me up .

Also numbness.

Seems to have no pattern.

Definitely different from other aches and pains I've had before .

Do you think your treatment is correct?

Have you had recent blood tests included iron, vit D folate fbc

What's your treatment regime like?

It does sound like you need alot more regular B12. Numb hands is a sort of mid-way point of healing so it definitely needs regular injections.

I still get buzzing in my spine and feet but its subsided eith regular injections.

One every 3 months

I think you need to push for more - you can ask for every 8 weeks.

Otherwise I'd consider self injection.

Many people here administer one injection a week, including me. Many do every other day.

You may want to consider every other day for a couple of weeks and then one a week. C

I pushed for 8 weekly for my 93 year old mum.A huge improvement.

Yes, I have PA and was experiencing that vibrating too. I explained it to my GP just as you have here. He upped my B12 injections from monthly to every other week and it has really helped. I rarely have vibrations any more. You could try an increase in frequency to see if it helps .
