Hi. I was wondering if you could give me some advice. I recently went for a blood test and my ALT is 53 and my B12 levels are quite high. I haven’t had any intervention but concerned. Why were the bloods taken?I'm sure the doctor ordering them can explain more.

Elevated b12 we experience here because if b12 injections .

Usually started if b12 is very low or Pernicious Aneamia diagnosed.

An autoimmune disease.

If you ard feeling well ,go with that .

When you say your B12 was high, what was the number and range? Do you eat a high B12 diet and/or take supplements containing B12?

The ALT elevation is not very high and could have benign explanations as could the high B12.
