Eryctol Depot 1mg/1mlGerot and lannach ( Austrian)

I started with Gerot and Lannach at the NHS surgery.

However I'm sure the box said

Hydroxcobalamin NOT

Eryctol Depot?

Anyone familiar with this?

I feel okay after being injected with this yesterday at the surgery.

Any scientific answer please to why name changed .

Or any difference known please.

Patients information leaflet I can't find online.

My prescription I collect is

Hydroxcobalamin 1mg/1ml

Accord. ( panpharma)

Have also had.

Neo-cytamen.

The NHS often change suppliers ;

Cost driven.

Shorter expiry dates

I realise alot generic but after reacting badly trice to one brand ( proved to have different additives )

Wary.

Be interested to hear about this.

Looks like its just a trade name.

Erycytol® DepotErycytol® Depot contains the active substance vitamin B12.Erycytol® Depot is used in adults for vitamin B12 deficiency symptoms such as pernicious anaemia as well as nerve inflammation and nerve pain.Vitamin B12 is an important factor for normal growth, for undisturbed blood formation and the maturation of superficial cells, especially those of the gastrointestinal tract.A deficiency of vitamin B12 manifests itself mainly as anaemia.

Thanks. The old boxes just had hydroxcobalamin on them.

I wanted to check additives but can't access leaflet.

Assuming that GL Pharma from Lannach are actually Gerot and Lannach, this is the official UK Patient Information Leaflet:

Marketing Authorisation Holder and Manufacturer

G.L. Pharma GmbH

Schlossplatz 1, 8502 Lannach, Austria

mhraproducts4853.blob.core....

This lists:

The other ingredients are:

Sodium chloride, glacial acetic acid, sodium acetate trihydrate and water for injection.

Very slightly different to NEO-CYTAMEN.

This search will always find the Patient Information Leaflets for all currently licensed hydroxocobalamin products:
