The Gp surgery saga continues .....update 3

[Nackapan]

Booked my IM b12 injection despite my medical notes saying 3 monthly now .(6 weeks ago) inject at home sc inbetween)with prescription b12

Nurse Who queried everything has not corrected her notes.

Should read 2 weekly.

She after calling a senior doctor in changed my notes to 2 monthly. A simple mistake I thought !!! Eventually spoke to her. Letters emails seemingly ignored.

She wrote She 'took advice and couldn't change anything.

I pointed our data protection.

Ect .

On same entry She stated I wanted her to change her notes to 3 monthly!!

Grrrrr.......

Anyhow Saw a different nurse .

Apparently meddling nurse no longer works there!!!

A right messsghe got me into .

Stress

Got my injection.

Still waiting for outcome of 'review' of my b12 frequency.

Senior partner asked a neurologist by email!

Never met me, will not know 'my case'

Have a letter from a neurologist on my record stating 2 weekly to continue .

The senior partner wants his back covered .

He isconcerned about the safety.

The atmosphere very different, like they were all waiting for me to finally 'kick off'

(I'm told I can be scary ??)

Surgery staff very courteous and attentive.

Thay shouldn't feel odd ! 🤔

I went in with jelly legs.

An 'old' symptom of stress.

I only thought today.

Some normality.

A physical reaction I remember of years ago.

Typical a negative familiar 🙄 feeling.

So will turn it into a positive .

First hurdle done ✔

Notes to be corrected

Neurologist to reply.

Injection didn't hurt.

I wonder why they do that - contact consultants that you have never seen and know naff all about you ? Mine does the same.

Sometimes just standing up to these people (bullies) changes things for the better. Sometime in life you have to stand your ground otherwise they will destroy you in one way or another.

I dont know how anyone can make a clear defined opinion on someone they have never met. This is clearly where things go wrong!

You give us all strength to carry on. Thank you for sharing your story. Unfortunately I am now in my own battle with my GP. If Ukrainian women can face oppressors with courage I can face those who think they know everything and who don’t really care. I too am standing up for my health and my life. I have now got my own supplies thanks to friends on this site.
