My 2 weekly Injections are to continue on an NHS prescription.

A new entry had been made on my medical notes to say this .

The 'random' neurologist the Gl partner asked for advice sactioned them.

To get them 2- 3 monthly when no longer symptomatic!

That would be good!!

Thrn if b12 levels drop a referral to a heamatologist ( well I ignored that but. )

Tel consult today.

All 'kicked off' 14/1/22

Made clear new entry overrides the incorrect entries made by that nurse no longer working there.

On the systm one Homepage too.

All my letters are on the system .

I'm leaving it at that.

Preserve my energy .

Very wise !

You've succeeded in getting treatment you require, rubbing their noses in it will only infuriate them more !

Time to relax and recover .

👍

Well done Nackapan take a well earned rest now and enjoy the sunshine we are supposedly getting although must admit it’s been lovely here today but still too chilly for me lolMy cats have been trailing the sun all around the garden today and one of them has had her face in it as much as she can most of the day.I’m jealous of her.

Take care and chill now that was a nice wee victory xx

Congratulations lovely lady!

Thank you for your hard work in getting this recognised. Small steps but if the whole "herd" of us are gradually moving in the right direction we will make progress.

Yes.

A decision from a neurologist who's never met me!

But it makes them look into it .

I had my doubts as most I've met haven't any understanding of b12 but have ruled out other things.

So good.

I csn try and move on/get on without that hurdle.

Well done Nackapan - a small ask, you might have thought at first, that you continue to have the frequency of treatment as advised by a consultant - and not as altered on records by a nurse.

You gave her the room to correct an "error" - and she refused the opportunity.Glad she is not still there, causing health problems for others.

Glad you can now just get on with treatment.

Hoping they now understand how seriously you have been affected by this -

perhaps they can now work with you in widening the search for answers ?

You'd think a "complex case" would warrant further exploration.

Thank-you fof your reply.

They have no idea of the impact it had on me.

No apology.

Didn't even ask on the telephone consult how I am doing??

Certainly don't even acknowledge a telephone consult is physically very difficult of me setting off alot of symptoms .

This 'remote' form of doctoring won't work I think those vulnerable not approaching for help at all

Mental health problems that have escalated already will get worse without human contact .

Manners seem to have dissapeared.

Just replaced by defensive attitudes .

So many forced onto a and e.

Who if not in a life threatening position send you back to access thd gp!!!

I don't actually see how if csn work??

Surely a review should be face to face??

All theve actually done is covered their backs prescribing 2 weekly b12.

Didn't once ask me about progress/ symptoms.

Alll very odd and very uncaring.

I expect better .

I realise I've kept my prescription .

Which is updated at least.

As was expecting a review as new management at some point.

What a

how ha

Too long as hanging over me since the 14 th January.

No coincidence I felt so ill the day after that telephone consult .

Bit annoyed j forgot to say the referral was to the wrong hospital for tinnitus.

.......and so if goes on.

It's definitely 'picking your fights '

But shoukd it be a fight ????

Access to our medical notes change from April.

Training in that going on at present I've heard.

in reply to Nackapan

All the training in the world will not replace face to face contact, as for access to our medical notes ... will have to wait and see.

I went down to my surgery last week for injection and noticed all the posters with different health needs, advice and telephone no,s of different societies had all been taken down. I guess all the helplines are flooded with calls asking for assistance or help, by removing them I guess is away to stop this. Also as mentioned before notice saying do not ring the surgery for blood test results !

Is it any wonder why people are turning to the internet for answers, or even getting medication etc ?

Yes,

Or they go one better and study. So when they do have to decide to engage with a doctor. Here we go, here’s my qualifications- fancy a proper chat because I know more than you.

Sorry for the late reply.

But well done on your battle.

Hope you recover from the saga quickly (being frazzled from the energy spent on phone calls, being on hold 😬, letters etc etc).

Definitely knowing when to walk away and save energy is wise.

All the best

Yes learnt over the years .Walking away at times is empowering.

Not easy though

My daughter was told by the hospital dietician she knew more than her.

Not brilliant when you going for help and advice

Yes a rubbish day after .

Better today thank you

Went on too long.

Thanks 😊
