Update 3 cont.

Have to laugh otherwise I'd cry at the incompetence of the nurse meddling with my b12 treatment.

I rang and asked her to correct her mistake as had put 2 monthly rather than my regime of 2 weekly.

She has made a new entry yesterday

3 monthly b12 injections !!

I seriously wonder now if this nurse is coping. ( does she need b12?) I was very patient for most of the telephone conversation

I don't say that lightly as we all know our brains get in such a muddle and this is beyond any comprehension. Might explain my first consultation with her ?

A clear illustration of not listening. Then querying as 'out of the box'

My final letter in.

Will have to escalate thus to a formal complaint if not sorted in 2 weeks . I M injection due then!

I also know my treatment is 'under review' as awaiting advise from a neurologist as the senior partner is worried about toxicity . Discussed at next partners meeting.

Seems relevant as many posts exhibit the general unease amongst medics having b12 more than 2-3 monthly.

I really hope they get their act together with facts .

Otherwise are we all poisoning ourselves slowly?

With no other treatment being offered?

Oh yes your treatment is being reviewed by cutting the amount prescribed - I doubt very much if this is an accidental error or due to incompetence.

I have you found any evidence that states too much B12 is toxic ? ? ? If that is the case why do so many of us feel so much better with more fequency of injecrions ? If toxic why do we get clearer clarity and less brainfog when injecting ? ? ?

I am getting seriously peed off with this rat race of having to battle with these plonkers.

P.s I never did find you message you sent yesterday - the one where you said you had sent in the wrong place and that it was below.

Did you forget to send it ? 🤔

Oh nice one from the sound of it you had them by the short and curlies ?

Either I have got my thick head on or i'm still hungover from the party at no 10. I will look up AndreaUK.

Is it any wonder the NHS if failing when medical records aren't correct.

I have had to question many things on both mine and my partners records when at hospital. So say Had liver transplant ! WHEN!

There response dont worry sometimes these things happen!

No they shouldn't happen .....

Yes they do happen. But should be corrected Immediately.

Not argue or disbelieve .

Despite the huge problems at times the core are working very hard.

The listening skills would save alot of anguish and time snd money.

Everyone seems so defensive rather than sorting the problem!

That's what's happenj g yo me ag thd moment.

It should've taken minutes not weeks snd ongoing

I think this is a problem of NHS going on the defensive.I personally would prefer a person say sorry! I'll correct it straight away instead of shrugging it off as though it is not important. Less time less hassle and less stress. Simple solution !

Hi Nackapan,

I've just posted an article about B12 levels and mortality.

Might have some useful quotes in it to pass to your GP.
