Limit on order number - Bodfeld?

Hi

Really grateful for the advice that's been given about ordering B12 from Germany - and have copied the info from Wedgewood to work through the links.

I've just tried to order from bodfeld-apotheke.de. However, it will only let me enter 3 packs - I usually order more to save on postage (I'm injecting twice a week).

Is there a workaround do you know?

Thanks, Liz

I’ve never seen that happen before Yes , you are rationed to 3 x10 packets .of Panpharma b12 depot ! There is no way round it . They must have low stocks .You can buy as many as you like of the Hevert b12 depot , but they are 1mg x2ml ampoules costing €74.38 for 10 x 10 packets .so €84.00 with courier costs for 100.

You can order as many as you like of Panpharma b12 depot from Marienbrunn but they cost €9.59 for 10 plus €12.95 courier .

Same at Apotal.de costing €8.13 for 10 plus €19.95 courier

Thank you - and thanks for checking the site.

I'm not sure about injecting the 2ml - 1ml seems quite enough! :)

I've had my calculator out and I think Bodfeld are still cheaper per 10 when I take into account the cost of postage. Will get an order in.

Really appreciate the information you share.

The Hevert 2ml ampoules only contain 1mg of B12 — the same as the Panpharma , but yes , double the amount of liquid .

I know how Id feel if I had difficulty in accessing B12 depot ampoules .The B12 Cynocobalamin are available in large quantities . But I’ve never tried Cynocobalamin, but it is the b12 that is the most commonly used in USA , so it must be OK . In a desperate situation I would use it , but I think it would have to be injected a bit more often .

I ♥️ cynocobalamin!

Yes , I’m sure it’s great , but here in the U.K. , it’s been discontinued by our GPs , because it’s said that Hydrocobalamin lasts longer in the system than Cynocobalamin. Although we have one member - clivealive , for whom Hydroxocobalamin is not suitable , and still manages to get Cynocobalamin injections .

I haven't managed to do it - I made the order and translated the email but I don't understand the bank instructions! I have online banking so thought I'd be ok but Coop ask me for sort code and order number and it appears differently on Bolfeld's email. I think this is about my lack of banking understanding! Can you help? Apologies. Have looked at it a long time now and not worked it out!

I’m pretty useless , but somehow i managed to send the correct details and Bodfeld delivered . So i know it’s possible . I also was panic-stricken because it was a bit different to doing a bank transfer between U.K. accounts . I don’t remember how i did it honestly , so i’m of no use to you . I just know i managed it ( accidentally probably ) Do you know a German speaker who could help you? When you’ve managed it once , you can write down the steps you took ! Really sorry about this . Unthinking has come about because the GBP is all over the place and they want to be sure of getting their money . I wonder if it’s possible to use Amazon pay if you have an account ? Wish i was there with you to help .

You need BIC and IBAN numbers (sometimes called Swift): for bank account to make bank transfer abroad. Don’t ask me what letters stand for but if you Google into bank site “what is my IBAN number you can access these numbers. We bought a house in France and it is very nerve- wracking transferring large sums of money across the ether!

Thank you. It was an error with my bank's website - phone call needed (52 mins!) but all done and B12 now received. 😊

I couldn't make payment via my banking app but there is an option for international payments if I log into my full Internet banking account. I think my banking app is slimmed down for basic functions, far more options available online, international transfers being one of them.

Good luck.

Sorry - I've sent this and realise I need to check with my bank really! I'm getting in touch with them! Got a bit panicked but do have a few weeks' supply left! :)

Aw thank you so much for your responses. And what a kind offer to share your ampoules, that's so nice of you. I do seem to get more anxious about this than other things - not surprising really as the injections turned my life around and I'm sure many of us have been worried about whether supplies would be affected (I stocked up before December)!Anyway - 52 minutes on the phone to my bank and I've managed to get the payment sent! Apparently I would normally be able to manage this through my online banking but it's down just now.

Huge thanks, Liz

I’m not surprised that you get anxious . We know what it’s like when we run low on B12 - Also anxiety is a symptom of B12 deficiency.Great that you’ve managed it !

Yes, I used them previously. I'm hoping it'll be easier next time! I will do it more promptly too just incase. :)

Hello, I've used amazon.de twice now and it's been easy to pay as they take Paypal. It took 2 weeks for the first lot, I think due to low supplies - but the second lot arrived in 5 days.

I've received this private message from Burbank so sharing it here as I'm working this evening and tomorrow so can't get back. Can others help - my doctor stopped my injection 2 years ago without warning and put me on iron tablets but they don't work and I have tried ordering but cannot understand the procedure,I'm 79 and wanted to use a debit card but don't think this is safe..please can you advise on how to get supplies and how to make payment. I am a full time carer for my 76 year old husband but I'm exhausted, any advice would be appreciated . I need ampoules and needles

Can somebody who lives nearby get supply for her perhaps? Or someone who is very familiar how to get supplies phone her and talk her through it?

If you don't get any response here, perhaps start a new thread for her, these kinds of comments go missing.🌼
