I know some have been asking about the difference of both and as I recently ordered from both thought I would give my opinion. Versandapo was really easy to order 10 packs £79.83 inc postage, paid by PayPal, packing was s bit bashed about but nothing broken, it was packed with polystyrene chips, order took about a week from placing to delivery. Bodfeld could only order 3 packs, £28.74 inc postage, from initial order it took about 3 days for money to come out of bank account as had to pay by bank transfer that was last Friday, they turned up today Thursday, we’ll packed in bubble wrap. Both were signed for on delivery so one went to the post office and the other my neighbour took in. Both orders had s use by date of November 2023. I’m well pleased with both although Bodfeld would work out more expensive in the long run due to delivery charges. Hope this is of help😁

Versandapo v Bodfeld
hello Dragonfly1962
I’m having a bit of trouble with Bodfield. I’ve tried paying by bank transfer, but I’m not sure which details I need to input into my online banking app to make payment for the order.
Any idea, which details I need to input?
the email from Bodfeld you get after placing the order has all the details, I couldn’t do it on my app on my phone as it had no international payment option,I had to log on via the bank website to do it.
no problems ordering from Bodfeld but had to pay it by an international tyoe of bacs.
I use Bodfeld the bank transfer details are on the email they send you after you have placed the order and picked the pay in advance option😀
just as a tip, if you have to pay by bank transfer, if you have a revolut account you can change money into different currencies, and then pay using local currency. easy to set up the bank transfer too. I use it when on holiday too, and is great for using for things like uber/lyft when abroad as it will take the local currency.
You can also then top it up as and when you need it or if the rate shoots up so you can get a better rate.
I much prefer to use it for any kind of foreign transaction as there are no fees either when paying in the local currency.
Hello again
I’ve got the email from Bodfield. When I attempt to make the bank transfer from my bank, there are no input fields for SWIFT/BIC & BANK. There’s only a input field for the IBAN & COMPANY NAME
Sorry I’m not too good at this. 🙃
What a good idea to share this info!
I had the same experience - I have used both more than once. I use Bodfeld when Versandapo run out of stock (and I then panic!). I have to ring my bank for a bank transfer so Bodfeld is more hassle and more expensive - however I think they manage stock levels better. (My First Direct account charges £5 for international bank transfer - free with Coop).
My most recent supplies from both (yes panicked again when there was a suggestion on here that they could be tightening rules 😀) are dated Nov 2023. Interestingly my last supply from Versandapo are 2024!
