I am scheduled to get the Pfizer Covid vaccine today. Any known risks for people with PA or B12 issues or who receive B12 injections??

Nope. None whatsoever.

I had by BioNTech jab five weeks ago, and my B12 jab the day before. Nothing but a sore arm for a few days.l

Do not worry . I had the Pfizer jab . It was 3 days after my B12 , and absolutely perfect .

Had Pfizer injection about six weeks after first day of having covid. If four weeks (or less) since day 1 of having covid, the vaccine will not be given.

I felt like I had one day of covid return the next day - then fine the day after that. Unable to lift arm for a while after, though. Worth it, to my mind. A nurse told me that you are more likely to have an adverse reaction to the vaccine (whatever the brand) if you have recently had covid, so I was expecting it.

Aside from that, the retired GP who gave me my covid vaccination said that they had not found any pattern re who will get a reaction and who will not. That is just down to luck.

It seems that you are not at any greater risk of a bad reaction to vaccine.

PS: I was too ill to self-inject B12 during covid- but after having covid, I upped the frequency of my B12 injections and continued this for a while. Whether this helped in recovery, I don't know but DMB (vitamin D, magnesium, B12) has been given to hospitalised covid patients with positive results in research carried out - see Sleepybunny's recent post and link.

Ctadds1 - please feel reassured that there is no reason why those with PA should not have the Covid vaccination. As per my PM to you, please feel reassured about this. Closing this post is no reflection on the question you asked so please do post again if you have any more questions or need further support.

Thanks all 👍
