Recent blood test shows >1500 b12 (from 11 in Feb) folate 12.4 (6 in Feb) all symtoms have gone. Currently SI once a week with 12 weekly at Drs. Dropped from twice weekly SI one month ago.
Should I stick with what I am doing or SI less frequently?
If symtoms return would that mean my levels are very low again and need to start loading again?
My plan is to have another b12 blood test privately to see where I am on new routine.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

If you want to inject less frequently than once a week , try once every 2 weeks . If symptoms start to come back , return to weekly again . You know that you cannot overdose. Your B12 blood results are immaterial . The guide lines state that b12 blood tests are unnecessary once injections have begum. It is your symptoms that are the crucial indicators, NOT the blood results . We all have different requirements for regularity of injections . When injecting , the results will always be high . Whatever it takes to keep symptoms at bay is the order of the day ! Best wishes .
If you are feeling generally well and symptom free, why not try going as long as you can from your last B12 jab until symptoms start to return. That should give an indication of how frequently you need to SI. Take a jab as soon as symptoms return then plan your next one slightly sooner than the time it took for the symptoms to return and hopefully you shouldn't be too far away from your personal needs. It may take a few tweaks until you find your optimum frequency.Apparently you can't overdose on B12 but you don't want to be injecting yourself more frequently than is necessary.
I found that I started feeling a bit run down around 5-6 weeks after my previous jab, then other symptoms soon followed. I now SI every 4 weeks (missing out the week when I get my official jab at GP treatment room) and currently that's working for me.
