Magnesium at 2,3

Hi guys! happy new year!

I got my blood test results and my magnesium level is at 2,3.

I am an athlete ( weight lifting) and prior to the blood test results , I was considering supplementing with magnesium for better sleep and recovery,

With Mg at 2,3 there is no need for supplementation right?

The body cleverly maintains a good level of magnesium in the blood. If it drops it is replaced by drawing on reserves in the bones. So tests are not revealing. There are many different types of magnesium available so choose one to suit your needs.

Thanx! to be honest, i bought some magnesium citrate since its not oxide ( most common in sport supplement out there...) and it was relatively cheap

I haven't had my levels tested and I've heard you need red blood cell levels as the body won't let blood level drop.

I take magnesium anyway as it helps me with sleep, restless legs, the injections and eating partly low carb

A lot of people are said to be deficient

I take mag glycinate and it has helped me sustain energy
