Bonjourtristesse gave this information . I tried it out and yes , they are delivering to U.K. . You can get this site in English ( you need the US flag to get it !)

Be aware, though, that you might get charged VAT and customs clearance charges on every package - regardless value.

Did you get charged UK VAT on the order?

I’ve not ordered any , only went through the process till I had to pay , then I cancelled . You need to ask bonjourtristesse if she has to pay any duty etc when her order arrives . When I get stuff from USA I have to pay duty and Royal Mail charge £8.00 for handling . Apohealth were shipping by mail , not courier .

I've just gone through the process and there is 20% VAT on the order (and the shipping).

Pre-Brexshit that would be no problem. Now it's likely to be more complicated. It may be that we get charged the VAT again (by HMRC) when it comes into the UK. And that we would have to reclaim the VAT from Germany.

Still, blue bananas and bendy passports, eh!

If it is 20% wouldn’t that mean UK VAT? I think German is 19% (was 16% until end of year).

Hopefully that implies they are doing the right thing.

Didn’t think of that. German VAT is normally 19% but has been temporarily reduced to 16%. So it looks like they are charging UK tax.

I think vat is applied to anything worth over 390 pounds

No, VAT will be payable on anything imported from outside the UK.

The £390 limit is for duty payable on goods brought into the country by individual people.

Did you go to Amazon.de ?

They do not have enough, ordering for my sister and a friend so need 700. Just would not even let me pit any in cart.

It's all getting so difficult. I hope Brexit voters are now wondering if it was the right decision. !! ??

That said I'm not sure if theres a way to get around the VAT .

But would just be glad to get it when needed. The price in my view is bound to go up if the supplier has to pay it

As long ad we can all get our supplies !

Yes it’s been such a reasonable price up to now . It’s worrying . I’m hoping that things will settle eventually . 🤞

Yes so do I 🤞

I expect that there ‘s been a run on it , as the usual German online Pharmacies are not supplying .

Try ordering a smaller amount . They may think that you are a business , ordering so many l . Just tried on Amazon.de, and they would supply 1 packet of 10 ampoules .

Bought 100 on 7th December no probs

wedgewood in reply toScotlad76

Yes , all was still well then . Since Brexit , the difficulties have unfortunately started . I also got stocked up early on , as I was worried that there might be problems .

I posted elsewhere that vat will be applied to items over 390 pounds. Let's hope 100 ampoules never gets to that cost or customs and vat will be the least of our worries lol.

I placed an order through Amazon.de on 31st December that should hopefully arrive this week. This is a copy of the order total:

Order overview

Sub-total: EUR 54.30

Packaging and shipping: EUR 9.16

Sub-total without VAT: EUR 63.46

Sales tax: EUR 12.69

Final amount including VAT: EUR 76.15

(GBP 70.72 *)

This is from the confirmation email to say it had been shipped via dhl.

I'll let everyone know once arrived if any issues.
