Do expired B12 hydroxocobalamin ampoules still work? I still have at least forty that expired back in February. I feel like they may not be working as I've had to increase SI from every other week to every week to feel normal again.

Do expired B12 hydroxocobalamin ampoules still work?
I would say that their potency is being gradually reduced . But I believe that they are harmless .
They will be harmless , but you don’t want harmless , you want effectiveness !
I think you've answered your own question. I personally wouldn't use them unless desperate .
Horrible to inject with uncertainty
I’ve used them for that extra couple of months, then their effectiveness falls off a cliff.
B12 can disintegrate from heat and light. If you store in the fridge (not freezer) at around 2-8 degrees, it will last a long time. If only at room temperature, it will disintegrate over time.
Until a couple of months ago I was using date-expired ampoules but they were not very effective at all. I supplemented with huge doses methylcobalamin swallowed until I managed to get 1500µg capsules from Amazon.de.
Best ever.
I am using hydroxocobalamin with an expiry of 1/2023. I am not going to let it go to waste. It works fine although I am inj. more than 1ml daily just incase it has lost some potency. My symptoms usually come back immediately even after skipping one dose. So I would most definitely notice if it did not work and so far it is still working.
