Can anyone tell me why I am I so much pain after self injecting yesterday. Feels like deep ache in all my bones, also feel very weak dizzy and a bit like hypoglycaemia but have eaten. I stopped injecting 5 weeks ago after loading plus 4 once weekly I did myself, in order to test whether I was absorbing oral b12 but as I was going downhill I assume I am not absorbing even though I had negative if test. I plan to inject every 3 days but am put off by this much pain, you start to wonder if you are doing the right thing. I didn’t have this much pain before, I am still a bit low on folate and iron and wondered if that might feel worse when correcting b12?

After a break in much needed injections it seems to kick off more symptoms . It takes months to try and get more healing done. I would stick to a regime for a while and keep a log.
