Has anyone had this drug?

I've been advised to try it .

Ive had two bad experiences trialling two things early last year.

I csnt seem to find any information of hoe you stop this drug if it diesnt help or makes you worse .

Its primary used for Meniers disease but I expect also used for other vestibular disorders. ? Tinnitus.

Any experience I would love to hear from you.

I know we all different but I'd never heard of it. My Gp got a receptionist to ring me .

I was given this a long time ago but it wasn't for me, so GP advised me stop taking them.

Try looking for "Betahistine" for more information.

In your case, it may bring much needed help and I hope it does.

Thanks.

I'm still debating .

I'm loathed to try something I cant get off quickly. My mum is on it amongst other things but csnt remember how it first made her feel. She however was told she had meniers. I havent.

Did it give yoh headaches or a stomach upset?

Did you have any problems stopping it?

Sorry for the questions i realise what's not for you may be for me .

I'm coping at present. Debilitated but coping and I dont want a change for the worse again.

It's only a suggestion to try it . From G.p friend then condoned by mine. I do get the feeling as though mine would give anything .!! She didnt even discuss it with me . Ivr not seen her since February . I put it on a joyce when requesting a blood form to consider. Then quite shocked just prescribed and left with the blood form

.

The main thing I'd like to know is if youbhad any problems stopping.

Thanks.

I’ve been on it for years and it’s been a life changer it is amazing. No problems stopping whatsoever. I react quite badly to pharmaceuticals but this was a miracle for me .

I have Ménière’s disease and when I’m having an ok phase I just stop it. So have stopped it regularly.

I react to most things, like you, so was nervous from the start.

It was about 30 years ago and I only took it for a couple of days, so probably withdrawal symptoms wouldn't happen. I felt worse than I did before so was not willing to continue with it.

At one point menieres was suspected but not proven.

I was given Serc when I had very bad dizziness/ labyrinthitis and couldn't stand up I was so dizzy. It didn't work for me so the doc changed the pills to Stemetil(proclorperazine) which really worked. on occasion when i now have a dizzy spell (usually when b12 is getting low and jab due) i take 3 a day as keep a supply in .
