I recently got a box of 100 Pascoe Hydroxocobalamin shots and 10 of Hevert Hydroxocobalamin, but the Pascoe one doesnt seem to do anything for me.
Has anyone else experienced this?

No. Pascoe hydroxy is my b12 of choice. Could it have been ruined in heat or light?
I honestly don't know. It seems to be a brand new batch.
Heat in transit is a concern of mine. I live in the desert an the mailbox and the mail truck will be at excessive temperatures six months of the year. I'm considering ordering a huge amount now so that I can just keep it in the fridge, but what I don't know about is shelf life and whether that will also be a problem if I order so far ahead. Do you know about that?
I order all my B12 outside of the summer as even in the UK and Germany where ordering form can have heatwaves. Usually the shelf life is 1-2 years.
No, more the other way around for me.
A friend of mine also feels like Pascoe doesn't do anything for her. Tried it multiple times with different batches. So she injects Hevert. I've rarely heard from cases like that, but there is really no explanation.
I wonder if it matters if its a IM or SC injection. The Hevert is in a 2ml solution, and i believe doing a proper SC injection can be a lil tricky. I am going to try to inject it with a 45 degree angle instead of my regular 90 degree angle shots, but I doubt that will change a lot.
I find Pascoe Hydroxocobalamin absolutely excellent . But we know how under researched and how little knowledge there is about B12 d / PA Maybe it just doesn’t suit you for some unknown reason .
Or maybe it got overheated or frozen somehow . I have only heard Pascoe B12 depot the subject of praise on this forum .
Best wishes .
I've been on Hervert for years but I have had a bad batch once. Probably damaged in shipping.
So I always have a backup.
Haven't tried pasco but so many like it.
I use Pascoe for more than 4 years. It is good for me. May be you have to try Cyanocobalamin, or Methyl for injections. No different for me, but we are all individuals.
I’m using a box of Pascoe that I bought a few months ago which seems fine. Could yours have been damaged?
I honestly don't know.. I used to get b12 shots from my doc, but they only do once every 2 months, which clearly doesn't work for me, but I can't get them to do montly shots.
I am from the Netherlands though.
If you’ve used Pascoe before it might be a batch issue.
It's my first time trying to do b12 shots. The Hevert one works like the one that my doc gives, the Pascoe so far, doesnt do anything. Usually my headache and fatigue goes away for a few days after each injection, and it does that with Hevert but not with Pascoe.
That’s a pity. Perhaps the formula doesn’t agree with you.
Yea, I wish I wasnt scared to do IM injections to be sure, if its due to not injecting it properly..
Well I have sc and IM When you try another batch or a different brand that will be the test.
I find both methods work.
Are you doubt sc in your tummy .
This is a more direct route.
If 1mg is in wmls try 2 injection sites to half the volume ?
I did have problems with one brand of hydroxcobalamin.
Turned out and one different additive my body reacted to .
Happened twice.
Is subc injection in the tummy better? I could also try to inject in 2 sites indeed, but the Pascoe is just 1ml. I think that it might have worked a bit on yesterdays injectinon when I injected in about a 45 degree angle instead of my regular 90 degree angles. I wonder if the 90 degree injection is less effective when there is not enough fatty tissue there, so the solutions goes between the fat and muscle tissue..
I watched some videos on YouTube before I started injecting. Perhaps get someone you trust to help you
I mostly do subcutaneous injections every day with a 1cm Nevershare syringe & 1/3 of a Pascoe vial. I fill & keep the other two syringes in the fridge. I only bother with intramuscular if I’m somewhere inconvenient to needle daily then I’ll inject a whole vial twice a week & use a sublingual other days. Either method seems to work ok for me.
I tried Pascoe because of the smaller volume and higher dosage but they did absolutely nothing for me. Hevert on the other hand seem to work well. I inject monthly.
Yes I had wondered if the higher dose might mean less injections but as there is a limit to what can be absorbed in one go maybe that’s irrelevant. Some countries sell 500mcg ampoules and the Hevert instruction sheet advises ongoing doses of 500mcg, so just half the ampoule. There’s no mention of what to do with the remainder
How long have you used it for and what effect did you notice in other brands? I've used Pascoe SC for 6m. It took a long time to show benefits except for sleepiness initially and I've had B12d for a very long time. After 6 months of symptoms coming and going most have now gone except for residual numbness in toes and fingers but if I go longer than twice weekly they start to come back. Wondering if you're just in a different phase of your recovery now?
Pascoe is now my choice and I don’t think Hevert does anything for me. I had the same with certain medications, different brands but the same active ingredients and some work and others don’t. Strange, just goes to show we are all different.
