If you have a copy of your results it should say what measurement used akso the range should bd in brackets on the right.

Symptoms are the important thing.

Hi.

I have a paper copy.

Theres no brackets.

Underneath it mentions a range, but I think that refers to the second blood test, serum foliate essay which results were 7.4 and it says Underneath reference range <3 ug/L

I have had fatigue and brain fog since 2005, but have other conditions that those are symptoms of.

More recently though I have had burning feet, which was one of the reasons for the test

Oh okay. At least you ruling things out. It is possible to have functional b12 deficiency. All the symptoms but b12 reading normal. Other tesrs would be needed.

If you have other conditions that could be the cause concentrate on thises perhaps. Thats the trouble lots if symptoms over lap with lots of conditions.

You doctor shoukve explained the result. If you've neurological symptoms get into the system to see a neurologist.

The range, you say, is 180-999. That means that your value of 424 is slightly above normal.
