Hello, I have been reading posts saying people are self injecting vit 12 Hydroxocobalamin and wonder where they are purchasing these ampoules. I self inject every 3 months with a Dr's perscription and would like an additional injection inbetween and wish to purchase. Have tried lots of sites but all need Dr's perscription. Can anyone tell me how to purchase. I nearly succeded with VersandApo but do not have the knowledge to convert from German. Thanks very much. Also was wondering if, as Cyanocobalamin is available to purchase, has anyone tried alternate injections with Cyan and Hydrox every month. ?

I’m sending you information on how to get B12 ampoules. You can buy Cyanocobalamin from the same sources , but you just search for Rotexmedica Vitamin B12 without adding “Depot “

. Hydroxocobalamin is considered to be superior to Cynocobalamin. No , I’ve never tried alternating the 2 cobalamins. I just use Hydroxocobalamin. It’s great !

thank you wedgewood, I tried and found the site was in german, did click on the united kingdom box which changed colour and tick but still was in german. I do think Hydroxocobalamin is better and will keep trying to obtain. I did persevere and get to Rotexmedica Drugs.co which which supplied cyanocobalamin only. I have read your posts and found very helpful. Will keep trying

Rotexmedica do supply both Hydroxocobalamin and Cynocobalamin . For Hydroxocobalamin you need to look for Rotexmedica B12 Depot . The depot is important as it indicates Hydroxo. Otherwise you get Cyno !

I would like to thank all of you for your replies especially about obtaining Vit B12 ampoules. I seem to have two names on healthunlocked and will try to eliminate one, however at the moment I am ositive and yoppa! I successfully ordered from versandapo and another company, slowly translating word to word from german. I took a leap of faith and pressed what I thought was the right box and a day later amazon and paypal confirmed my order, however still no confirmation email and I cannot translate the delivery date.

I am not very good at knowing how to browse with google chrome, know I am on Firefox and google search, and would like to thank Wedgewood, fbirder hellvell, serenity and all of you who have been posting because I found with your help and my perseverance I succeeded.

Versandapo box of 10 Rotexmedica B12 Depot ampoules is €2.51 dearer today than Bodfeld .Thats why I always have a look before I order .

I get mine from Amazon.de

But to get it in English you need to search

“Amazon.de in English”

Then it it comes up for you in English. Clearly it’s without the speech marks ha!

thank you for sending to my inbox, however when I clicked on I was shown a picture of a fire stick, not being very up on the language I could not know what to do next. I see you do not like to be contacted directly and respect this, so wonder if you can advise further. I do also find when I go to my amazon account I get a notice to verify with my email which I do but still have the same message to verify, cant seem to get past that - to my account to change to english. Thanks very much for your help.

The firestick is the advertisement that happened to appear at the top of the Amazon page when I went to amazon.de. Look to the RIGHT end of the screenshot where there is a miniature German flag (black, red, yellow horizontal thirds) - there is an open dropdown menu listing several languages:

  Deutsch - DE

  English - EN

  Nederlands - NL

  Polski - PL

  Türkçe - TR

  čeština - CS

Visit amazon.de and click on the language you want to use.

Thank you Hellvela I am 76 and negotiate the lap top slowly!! I did as you suggested and the drop down box indicated English already, I did it again and the german flag did not change to English as I thought it would.

I understand you did not send to my inbox, I wonder how I get emails from healthunlocked. Your advice is much appreciated.

Yes - I thought the flag might change. But it seems just to indicate that you are on the German Amazon rather than the language settings.

And not everything translates - a lot does but some things don't.

Look at the site in the Chrome browser. It will auto-translate all the text for you; and anything still in German is an image, which you won’t need translated in order to proceed.

Also, be sure to register on any site that offers this option; they may say they can’t ship to you, if you haven’t done that. But once registered, this difficulty should be removed.

I can also confirm that I ordered from Amazon. de. Very easy. Everything is in english. If you already have an account with amazon, you use the same log in. Injections arrived in about 10 days. I purchased methylcobalamin injections, but still have not tried, so can not share knowledge. Good luck

Hope you don’t mind me asking , but I’m interested to know the brand name of the Methylcobalamin injections that you purchased from Amazon.de. I’ve just been on there and cannot find any . The name of the brand would be useful . Thank you .

Hiya, of course you can. I think my post was confusing. The methylcobalamin is not from Amazon.de. i purchased from this website - oxfordbiosciences.com/store.... It actually arrived and i had injected twice so far. Wanted to try methylcobalamin for myself. People from forum are saying some experience bad side affects. So far none for me, but it is still early days.

It arrives in a vail and you have to dissolve yourself in saline.

Please be careful and do not buy from this website:regevelya.com/vitamin-b12-s.... He sells theirt stuff/Oxford Biosciences/ for double. I made the mistake to buy from him initially.
