B12 and Brexit.

Hello - I wonder can anyone advise me. I buy my b12 injections from Germany. I have tried to purchase again and they are no longer shipping to Northern Ireland. I assume this might be a Brexit problem - as there have now been numerous companies no longer shipping to us. Can anyone advise if this is the case? Thanks.

I believe it is to do with Brexit . The UK tax authorities want them to register for VAT . etc . But it’s still possible to get vitamin B12 depot ( Hydroxocobalamin) ampoules . You could try amazon.de ( German Amazon) or pharmasana.co.uk ( A German online pharmacy with a uk site address. Search for Rotexmedica B12 depot for 1mg x 1ml ampoules .Hevert B12 depot for 1mg x 2ml ampoules, and Pascoe B12 depot for 1.5mg x 1ml

Thank you - I have tried Amazon.de. It appears to have worked. But the postage was very inexpensive so I suspect something might go wrong. Thank you. Surely everyone on this page must have this problem now ?

Well if you only ordered a packet or two - it will weigh light , and Amazon have their own delivery service . Glad you managed it 🤞 I ordered enough for two years - possible because i inject weekly . I did that way back in October .

Yes, there have been many people reporting similar problems since versandapo.de stopped shipping to the UK.

Thanks to the efforts of this group alternatives have been found.

I'm lucky in that I started stockpiling two years ago, when it was obvious that this government was going to drag us out. I have kept up a 2-year supply ever since. I shall run out in 2023 (although I'll be using stuff past its expiry date for the final five months).

It does seem ridiculous. I only need one every eight weeks - so I just buy a ten pack. I hope something will be sorted as time goes by.

They aren't in the UK. They're American.

Cyanocobalamin. Most of us prefer hydroxocobalamin. It's also 50% more expensive than hydroxocobalamin from Germany.
