Different places have different ranges, but 320 is well above normal for all of them.

Vitamin B12 levels greater than 350 pg per mL seem to be protective against symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency

As a matter of fact, Japan raised its B12 reference range to 500 – 1300 Pmol in 1980s.

Hi Mel4857

I had the same levels as you and of course the drs said the same. I also had low ferritin so I had an iron infusion where I met a wonderful consultant who not only helped my iron levels but is currently helping me to get hydroxycobalamin injections on the NHS every other day until symptoms stop.

So far I haven’t noticed any relief but I’ve read on here it can take a while especially like you and me we’ve had it for a few years. It can make you feel worse before you feel better.

Let me know how you get on with the injections, it’ll be interesting who you respond to them as we have the same symptoms and levels etc
