I just had my consultation with my lovely endo professor there.
My sst test result was 995 and he said he’s very happy with that.Hes delighted that I’ve managed to get my weight down so I’ve only 5k to go then I’m out of the pre diabetis danger zone.Hes going to push gp to arrange the dexa scan so we can monitor any change from previous scan which he wasn’t happy with,he also wants my high ferritin test redone so we can see where it is now as haemochrmotisis test was negative and he said being so high usually indicates inflammation in the body so he’ll chase gp to monitor and investigate further. He also wants gp to retest cholesterol in a month to see if I have any success reducing it naturally,I am trying.
I haven’t had the urinary test results back yet for calcium he’s still concerned about my stones so I’ll chase that up with gp then report findings back to Professor.
Most importantly he said keep up with the b12 your doing great ,I wrote down all my improvements since I’ve been on it and read them off to him today and he was really genuinely pleased for me.
I’m really happy with that consultation today he said just you contact me if and when you ever feel you need me again and meantime I’ll get a copy letter to you and gp with my recommendations.Good positive day so glad I have him in my corner.x
Good morning Cheryl yes he really has been good considering it’s all being discussed remotely he really is on the ball.
I got my copy report yesterday by email that was super quick and he’s emphasised the need to keep up the b12 to gp amongst others things he still wants done so I feel so confident in his support.
I like the fact he didn't try and flog me anything he insisted gp do blood and 24 hour urine tests on the nhs and he want these follow ups to be done and the gp t keep him informed. He said to me your doing great and I’m here If you need me so just keep in touch.no money grabbing or needless appointments.Very positive outcome.thank you Cheryl xx
