When I finally get the opportunity to book an overseas holiday, as I am now SI weekly, I would like to take my ampoules and needles away, has anybody travelled with their "equipment", or does it require a prescription, doctors note etc..? Thank you

Travelling with B12 injections
Depending on where you're travelling to you may, or may not, need a prescription. As B12 injections are not a prescription medicine in Germany, I doubt they would require a prescription for it to be brought in.
America, however, are likely to insist on a prescription.
It's one of the reasons why I keep getting some B12 from the NHS for SI. If I need to travel with it then I can print out that prescription.
Yes of course, each country would be different. I do not get prescriptions, my GP keeps the ampoules in the surgery. I was thinking just Spain/France/Greece and then Thailand in January. Will need to look into it further. How about travelling with needles, or are they ok in hold luggage. I should really start investigating. When I next see my GP in August, I will tentatively discuss having prescriptions and SI, as they do not know that I do this!
