Last time I wrote about methycobalamin working for me than other forms. I need injections every alternate day and it’s Already two years. I Stil seems to have breathing issues during night and RLS. I also mentioned about MTHFR mutations and someone suggested to take folate form instead of folic acid. So I thought to give it a try.
I did not get the folate alone but is available in combination. Below is composition.
Methycobalamin-1500 mcg(I know it will not be observed for me)
Methyl l folate- 1mg
Pyridoxal l phosphate- 0.5mg
Is this ok to consume ? I am 28 years male. The first thing pharmacist asked is is it for female, so just wanted to make sure if this is ok for me to take

If you live in UK , Methyl Folate on it’s. own , is easily obtainable from amazon.co.uk.As you are having Methylcobalamin injections , it’s waste of money to buy tablets that contain it . The pyridoxal phosphate is a form of Vitamin B6 . Do you have a deficiency of this vitamin , found in meat , fish , wholegrain cereals , vegetables, eggs ?
If you can buy from Amazon UK get a modest dose of 400 mcg Methyl Folate . I can’t think of any reason why a pharmacist would ask if the tablet was for a female . Best wishes .
Thanks fbirder , I started taking it and today is day 4. This is all interesting for me because I haven’t taken Methylcobalamin injection from 5 days and Sleep well without breathless ness. I take injections normally every alternate days or 3 days from 1.5 years otherwise I cannot cope. Its all early days. I have ordered a moderate 200mcg methylfolate Tablets instead of 1000mcg not to overload folate.
