I currently take ...

-50 mg iron ( pure Albion)

-A b complex with 400 mcg Methyltetrahydrofolate

-5000 IU D-3

- I inject cyano b12 1x a week

My most recent blood showed ....

Folate >24

D-3 was 90

B12 was > 2000

What do you think. I’m finally making improvements on once per week injections. Everything was so high making sure it is safe

The NHS say you are taking potentially dangerous amounts of iron nhs.uk/conditions/vitamins-...

The folate and B12 should be fine.

... iron I mean. How much should I take

That depends on your iron levels.

I only take iron as ferritin levels dropped after discussing with Gp.

If both your hb and ferritin fine you do not need that amount of iron ..supplement. Alot of multivits have 14mg in. Spartone has 5mg.

Go by your bloods abd Go advice. My folate went out of range after supplementing within NHS guidelines.

Fir a short while I took 400mcg then 200mcg. I'm now top of range. So have lowered amount. Vit d I thought was recommended lower than 5000ug. Maintenance is 800-1000ug a day. Grassroots a good site to look at.

Glad you making improvements

Thank you I find figuring out what supplements to take is hard to navigate

Yes I find the same.

I alternate with things now and have regular blood tests.

I was surprised my ferritin levels dropped.

Never had a problem before.

Also surprised how well my body absorbed folic acid!! From food and a low supplement.

So wish it would with b12 🤣
