Here are the ampules and chewable b12 I have been using. The injections I have no side effects whatsoever but the vitamins I breakout in more spots than my entire teenage years put together within hours of sucking on one of these vitamins and I get the runs. How is it that the injections give no side effects? Have I got a dud batch of ampules? I got them from that place u can pay with amazon account.

Injections no side effects but the chewable b12 I break out in spots hours later. Is the injections not working?
Might be to do with the fact that the tablets consist of Methylcobalamin, from which some people can have unpleasant side effects .Your injectable B12 is Hydroxocobalamin. which is generally tolerated better . It’s the injectable B12 of choice for the NHS. If you have Pernicious Anaemia, the Hydroxocobalamin injections will benefit you , and it’s doubtful that the Methylcobalamin tablets will, due to lack of Intrinsic Factor and low/no stomach acid in the stomach .
Always take a modest (400mcg )folic tablet daily, or eat plenty of green leafy vegs , peas etc ( then known as folate ) Vitamin B9 works together with B12 . It cannot be stored . Best wishes .
The tablets were bought to absorb through the mouth by sucking but I don’t think they agree with me lol. I’m very high on iron in my blood count because of another health issue but my folic was low. I was starting to worry I was sticking myself for nothing with having no Side effects from the injections and I know improvement dosnt happen straight away. Relived to hear it’s down to type of b12.
I got quite a few spots when I started on methyl spray, I would say they lasted about 3 weeks and now I don't get them any longer
It may we’ll be you are reacting to the methlycobalamin but also could be additives in there that stabilise them. Most supplements have magnesium stearate or some sort of sweetener and there is some evidence that sweeteners are causing stomach issues as they turn into methanol in the stomach.
After a couple of weeks injections on every other day (exactly the same product, btw) I noticed some skin blemishes. I keep them successfully at bay with biotin. Since I take a good B complex every day (Hevert Complete) and 5mg biotin extra on the day of injection my skin has turned MUCH better. Maybe you are deficient in biotin as well, I think it was mentioned somewhere here in the forum before (at least I did), that a lack of biotin can cause pimples when you are on high doses of B12.
Best wishes.
