Cynocobalamine/Methylcobalamin injections

Hi Everyone,

I read many a times here and there online that Methylcobalamin injections are better than cynocobalamine injections when dealing with neurological healing. Is it true, if so , should I switch from cyno to methyl for faster healing?

It's been said on here that some react badly to methylcobalamine.

I've no personal experience of that though.

I think the frequency is more important than the type

No, it's a common myth which has absolutely zero science behind it.

I think you need to try both to feel which one works better for you.

After trying both (5 injections each) I realised that I feel better with cyano than methyl - and use cyano only now.

It might be that different manufacturers matter too - I use German cyano and used UK methylcobalamin.

Ohh okay, I have vitamin d deficiency too, so hard to observe the difference also. Will check though, thank yiu

I've been on cyanocobamalin injections every month for over 47 years and I'm still "clivealive" aged 78 having being given "two years to live" (without them) in 1972.

In the UK the NHS uses hydroxocobalamin because that seems to give the best results in the greatest number of people.

Methylcobalamin is expensive, unstable in solution and can have undesirable side effects in some people, including headaches and mood challenges, etc.
