Hello. I had a blood test a month ago that showed I was borderline deficient (active B12). Vit d low too.

Have been taking betteryou spray for 3 weeks now. Have I messed up my chance at getting accurately tested for PA now?

If the spray increases your blood levels of B12 then it means you do not have an absorption problem. If the spray alleviates symptoms then just keep using the spray.

Hi MrsButler,

I believe that it is recommended that you should not take B12 suplements 2-4 weeks before an IFA test. I believe it is similar for an MMA test.

Regardless of the cause of your b12 deficiency you are likely to passively absorb around 1-2 % of an oral dose.
