I'm in the middle of my b12 injection treatment, having completed 7 daily injections and two injections once a week. I'm positive for intrinsic factor blocking antibody, and we're confirming whether I have PA with an endoscopy in the next weeks.
My question: What should my diet be at this point? Balanced diet? Iron-rich diet?

Try and include sautcraut ? Lime juice or apple cider with mother. Can help with adding acid for digestion.
Look into eating the right combination of foodays together for absorbtion.
Littlet and often helps.
Keep your folate vitamin and other minerals checked.
Some foods are better cooked like spinach for nutrients to be released .
Vitamin C with iron rich foods. Include some fish or meat weekly.
If you have megoblastic anaemia ypur doctor will prescribe iron so you can make new blood cells.
A multivit can be of value.
Potassium rich foods good as sometimes more needed. Coconut water. Baked potato in jacket . Dont be tempted to over supplement until you've had your bloods done ti check levels.
re: "actually feeling" > I didn't realize I was "sick" . . . although, now. . . looking back, I realize that I was having mild+ symptoms for a year+. I had been anemic for 3 years, but hadn't realized that there was a b12 deficiency along with it until this summer. I moved and started with a new physician, who heard my symptoms in a different way than my former physician and ordered b12 bloodwork.
I've had one round of bloodwork and my folate and b12 are within normal ranges. The injections made me feel amazing with regards to my energy and clarity of vision, but some of my previous symptoms (tremors and tingling) have returned.
I'm cook and eat healthily and have been trying to figure out how to cook or if I need to adjust while i'm being treated. I've found "The autoimmune solution cookbook" but haven't found other resources as yet.
