Does anyone else have problems with burning mouth, peeling skin inside of mouth and lips? Also psoriasis which Doctor thinks could be caused by stress of moving house plus Pernicious Anaemia. Get uncomfortable tummy bloating as well. Not feeling too well today.
Burning mouth and psoriasis - Pernicious Anaemi...
Burning mouth and psoriasis
I csn sympathise with the uncomfortable stomach. I've been feeling yuk today. I haven't had the problems with my mouth but have a really sore face as skin peeling. Itd happened before after an injection. Also more sore spots on my jaw. Usually I ignored as injection picks me up. This one hasn't? ?
Yes psoriasis is stress related sites hopefully will calm when you settled in your new home.
Does milk calm your mouth?
Hope you get some good quality sleep and have a better day tomorrow.
Hi!
What treatment regime are you on for your PA?
I expect you need much greater levels of B12 and supporting supplements, especially as the stress and activity of moving will have depleted your resources.
If you can, try to get an extra injection or see if you get any benefit from sublingual supplements.
I hope you feel better soon.
Hi Deniseinmilden, thankyou for your reply. I'm on injections every 2 months but no matter how often or who I ask for oftener they will not budge. My latest blood tests for everything were good. I use Vie patches...the 5000mcg and cut them in quarters because I cannot afford more. It does help. Unfortunately like so many others, we are up against medical people who have no idea what is happening to us and so closed minded they don't want to know. About 20 miles from here I know of people who get the injections according to their need. Just a pity I couldn't register with that health centre. Take care and all the best to you too🌞
I do Margaret -S!
Not diagnosed with PA at the present moment - my mouth suffering terribly though! Sore, red frilly edge to tongue, ulcers. The skin peels on the inside of cheeks and the roof of my mouth -mainly after eating - also causes my mouth to feel burnt afterwards most of the time. Bloating - told I am 'lactose intolerant' and that going lactose free might help. Well, not so far. Sick of being told" it's hormonal" or "the menopause!" Hardly, had a total abdominal hysterectomy at 39 -that was 21 years ago....
Hi Minnskimoo, I feel so sorry for you and sympathise with you in the struggle to get proper help. Can you go to another doctor? Like you mine couldn't be hormonal as I had hysterectomy in mid 30's. Hopefully we will soon hear good news from you. I buy B12 patches on Amazon. They are called Vie patches and come in 1000mcg and 5000mcg. They certainly help me but as a supplement to the injections. All the best 🌞
