Anyone had back pain/spasms due to b12 deficiency or side effect of injections?

Back pain/spasms
I too have spine spasms but on having Xrays showed degeneration of my spine I am 67 diagnosed at 58 but no one has said it's because of B 12 or PA of which I have been diagnosed with x
Early on this year, for a couple of months, I got the most crippling back spasms imaginable. X ray showed some degeneration but I have had that for a long time. I am awaiting physio and an MRI scan at the moment. However when I looked at the blood test results I found my B12 is low within range doctor says OK (people with PA would say low) but it also showed my TSH had risen albeit within the range, but my T3 and T4 was below range. Doctor said thyroid OK. I took some T3 from a new batch and low and beyhold the crippling spasms stopped and I just have the normal aches and pains of arthritis in spine. Every now and again when I get into bed, if I lean over to turn the light off I tend to get a spasm but it stops again if I go slowly. So the real culprits (PA and/or thyroid) are being completely ignored. I shall attend the physio - it might help in other ways and I will also have the MRI because in the past something else has been found during the course of an investigation for something else.
I experienced back pain muscle spasms shoulder pains when my FT4's where high . You may also want to have 24 hr saliva testing for your adrenal/cortisol levels .
I had what I thought of as "rolling back spasms". The pain and muscle spasms would begin in my mid-back and rapidly move up through my shoulders and back of my head. I would suddenly feel extremely off-balance (it felt different from my usual off-balance). I would also sometimes feel like an electric shock was moving up my spine with the spasms. The spasms/weird off-balance/shock began a few hours after my first B12 supplement. I learned later that sitting on a hard surface would also trigger the spasms. The worst spasms and electric shock feeling were over within a few months and were completely gone within a year, however I sometimes still get a stiff sore back from sitting on a hard surface.
