So I did an MRI brain and a CSV for headaches. Normal.

Did homoscysteine (while on shots every other day) and MMA.

Homocysteine normal. (11.xx)

MMA - negative ( did a qualitative test)

I’m currently taking Sibelium everyday from today for the headaches.

Methylcobalmin 1500mcg daily.

Shots every other day.

Has Anyone seen any other cases like this where headaches eased after b12 supplementation in a while.

Hello! If you have been injecting then the B12 from the injections is going to keep the MMA and Hcy levels down so taking the tests once B12 therapy has started is no indication of a lack of a B12d/PA diagnosis. Yes, B12 can help greatly with migraines and headaches. Glad it is working for you!

I have only been on b12 shots for like a month. So basically I caught the deficiency early. My main symptom was a constant headache and weakness in legs.

Did an MRI to rule out MS. Did a VEP to check if eyes were fine. Checked everything. Found a nasal polyp in the sinus. Going to rule that out now from the ENT as a potential headache cause.

I’m supplementing daily oral methcobal and shots every other day.

I’m also on sibelium for the past 2 days.

Hopefully the symptoms ease in a few months.
