I have been diagnosed for 21 years now and on 3 monthly B12 injections.
Recently I had to have a gastroscopy which revealed the chronic gastritis that PA sufferers have, It seems to have flared up badly recently and I am really struggling with all sorts of gastric symptoms.
Does anyone else get this?

I was prescribed Omeprazole in Feb when I had a laparotomy and was on strong antibiotics. I have continued to take it but reading around Omeprazole it can bring on hypergastrinemia which is exactly what PA sufferers have so I can't imagine what it is doing to my stomach.
I haven't been to a gastroentorlogist since I last had a gastroscopy in December but they always seem very dismissive of chronic gastritis when they find it.
One of the side effects Type A gastritis sufferers have is low stomach acid and if you look at those symptoms you’ll see they are not pleasant. You can help with cider vinegar and various other remedies.
