How to pay on Versandapo.de

Hi anyone, I have taken the plunge towards SI as fed up with terrible stomachs and hoping SI will improve them, and ordered some B12 on Versandapo but now can't seem to pay! PayPal didn't work and so I clicked to order and now I think I have to pay through a bank. Can't do it through my online banking I don't think as the bank details given don't fit with what is needed in my bank account - sort code, account number. What am I am/have done, wrong? I have written them an email, hope they can do English, but they may not get back to me yet.

I thought they offered PayPal and Amazon Pay as options.

Have you set up an account with Versandapo?

If I recall correctly using Paypal won't work first time. They'll send you through to Paypal, then back to Versandapo. When they realise that you're in the UK and have to pay extra postage, then it gets sent to Paypal again.

Hi, yes, I have set up an account. I tried twice with PayPal, no joy. I will go on my account and see if there is a way to do it now.

2nd reply. On my account it says payment method - Vorkasse, which when I did a translate means payment in advance, but as far as I know I have not paid, or else I would have had an email from PayPal. Confusing, I thought this would be easy!

I just received another mail with an attached invoice and I noticed the translate button at the top of my gmail and when I did this I got bank details with a message.

We will ship your order immediately upon receipt of payment to our account.

I have no idea what to do next. I was getting ready to go on Medisave but don't want to do that until this is sorted. Don't know how I've managed to mess up!

HI, just had a look on my account page and it says payment method Vorkasse - payment in advance, but as far as I know I have not paid. I think I may have to cancel the order and try again.

Managed it at last!

Well done! I was going to suggest PayPal.

Yes, the first time PayPal didn't work but that may have been because I made my account after I had done the order. This time, all done in 5 minutes or less. Result!

Excellent! Thanks for letting people know too - there are lots who understandably struggle with this.

I am so sorry you are having problems with this site. I was helped greatly by this forum as people recommended Google Translate to cope with German, a language I don’t know. Perhaps if you try again with this help you might succeed. Good luck

Hi, yes I used Google Translate, it was good, but still didn't help when got to the paying stage. In the end, I cancelled the order as it had not gone through because I hadn't paid - it came through as an invoice yet to be paid. I went back on because I knew I had made an account and it worked first time with PayPal. Thank you.

As you have probably realised by now, ‘Vorkasse’ - Payment in Advance - means that they want you to pay in advance, not that you have paid in advance.

We have an account set up with CaxtonFX, so as long as we have the requisite bank details of who we are paying, we can ask to pay any amount in any currency in the world, within reason, and CaxtonFX give us a sterling price at the current exchange rate they are offering, which we pay by debit card.

Might be a bit overkill for a few euros to Germany, but for big stuff, we like that CaxtonFX usually gives us a better rate then most everybody else, Amazon included.

Would you like some B12 ampules from Versandapo which I ordered.

Ordered too much so are spare.

Rotoxmedica 1ml Hydroxocobalamin.

Unopened packs.

No money involved. I’ve given some away and some left if you like.

You can send me private message.

mountainice in reply to Ryaan

Thank you so much. Sorry, don't know how to do private message on here. Only how to on Facebook. I have just realised I have probably ordered too many, didn't think actually how often I am going to inject. I have had neuropathy for longer than 11 years so assumed that can't be fixed. Depends how long the ampoules last, do you know? Otherwise I will be giving some away too! I was so much thinking I must get on and order I didn't give a thought to quantity, not till I worked it out in bed this morning! I am on monthly jabs atm so really don't know what I am going to try. I have read keep them in a dark, cool place and fridge not necessary, but I don't have anywhere dark and cool in this house, even though it is an old one as I keep it hot in the winter and the only place in the summer I can think of is the hall cupboard. Does it matter if it is kept in the fridge? I suppose nurse practice does. Sorry, suddenly asking questions here.

The ampules usually have a 2 year expiry date.

Storing them in a cupboard or wardrobe is fine, fridge not necessary.

Thanks, it is just I can't think of anywhere that isn't hot - oh wait, there is a wardrobe that backs onto the outside wall, that might do.

I'm reading all the posts from those buying B12 online for si, just wondering where you get supplies of needles and syringes and does everyone self teach how to do IM injections.

I also belong to a Facebook group and they recommend where to buy with links. I think this forum had recommendations too.

Good luck to everyone with ensuring they have adequate treatment for PA but also horrified, that although adequate treatment should be available on the NHS, so many feel they have no choice but to source their own treatment and also possibly teach themselves to administer their own IM injections. Just another clear indication that illustrates the poor care the NHS provides for PA patients.

I'm still not sure if mine is PA or thyroid related but I am trying SI first.

How are you going to learn to SI bit daunting for some.

mountainice profile image
mountainice in reply to onyx33

Don't know yet! Scared. Looked at videos, and there is someone who lives near me who is on a Facebook group I follow who said she would be willing to help me. That might be my best bet. My son is an osteopath and worried about embolisms. So am I, but everyone seems to manage to SI.

onyx33 profile image

I hated doing it, every other day for over six weeks, so just wondering how others feel about it, I know some people manage, wondering if many are learning from you tube videos as only option.

Some seen to ask to be shown by a nurse at their GP practice, I haven't asked yet. Did you not get used to it?

onyx33 profile image

When I started my brain was so fogged I could have been injecting someone else's leg, as the other day injections began to work and my brain felt clearer, I hated doing it but kept at it as I was desperate to recover. I know some people are fine SI but what happens to people like me, I know I can't be alone. Getting treatment when we need it and SI would be so much easier if the equivalent of an epipen to deliver subcutaneous B12 injections was developed. Does anyone have any information on uk research into this or if such a device is available and licensed for medical use in uk.

mountainice profile image
mountainice in reply to onyx33

I'd love it if there was. I don't know if I am going to feel any better with SI. Main things are insomnia, burning mouth syndrome, feeling sick a lot of the time and bowel probs. Still not convinced it's not thyroid probs.

It is hard I know, I have Hasimoto's and PA, small symptoms could be indicators of which. I kept biting my tongue when I was eating when becoming ill with PA, it didn't occur to me this was a symptom of anything, just thought I was being clumsy but PA can cause your tongue to enlarge, had I known this at the time I might have recognised this as a symptom. Don't think this is a symptom of Hasimoto's.

Hello mountainrice

I was stocking up on B12 recently and although I had no problems ordering from Versandapo in the past before it changed hands I did have a problem this time. Here's what I did to solve the problem:

1. Located the product on Versandap.de.

2. Using Google Translate I added the product to my basket.

3. Again using Google Translate (copying and pasting to find out what to do) I asked to go to Payment by Paypal.

4. I could not find UK, GB etc in the country listing but by using Versandapo's chat facility (which answered in English) I was told to look for Vereinigtes Königreich (which means UK) in the Paypal countries listing and all was plain sailing from there on!

5. The charge for the 100 ampoules was 52.89 EURO and postage was only 9.88EUR.

6. The correct parcel arrived 5 days later by DHL.

Bodfeld Apotheke also sell the product at present for 58.98EURO (little bit more expensive) but I don't know the cost of their shipping. However the site is easy to navigate in English!

Hope this helps anyone else who is having problems.

Thank you, that is useful info. I will copy and paste that into Word in case I have probs next time. I just looked up my order for April and the price was the same as you were charged, so it's not gone up yet!
