Hi everyone

I am new to the site. I have been advised by a private doctor that I need B12 every month but my NHS doctor will only give it to me every month

Private doctor told me to buy it online and administer it my self every month

Which is the best and trusted sites to buy all I need

Thank you in advance for your help

I bought my last 100 ampoules from bodfeld apotheke, a German online pharmacy. Delivered to UK within a few days & delivery is €9 know matter how much you buy. At the time around 2 weeks ago the price was €5.90 per 10 ampoules. If you don't speak German you needle Google translate. You need B12 Depot rotexmedica which is Hydroxocobalamin.

I get all my needles & syringes etc etc from Medisave UK.

Good luck

I get mine from Versandapo: versandapo.de/vitamin-b12-d...

They are also in Germany.

I ordered from Bodfeld last week and they cancelled the order saying they do not ship to the UK!

They do ship to the UK, unless they have suddenly changed . I had a delivery last week . What I have noticed is that they now only allow you to buy 3x 10 packs or a pack of 100 . I think the German online pharmacies have received many more orders of Hydroxocobalamin from the U.K. , because if our fears as to what will happen with Brexit I know that I have stock-piled , so I am guilty . Also there is a general shortage apparently, due to a massive laboratory in China ( supplying the base material from which B12 is made ) being closed down for refurbishment .

I placed my order with Bodfeld on 23rd March and payment was taken. I had an email from them on the 27th March saying they do not ship to the UK. I received my refund on the 29th.

I was pleased in the end because Versandapo is cheaper anyway.

?? Did you mean you GP has prescribed every 2 months? Did your private doctor write to your GP with his findings?

Hi maudssnorts

Sorry had a typo, my GP will only give them every 3 months , private doctor who is a consultant at spire hospital has wrote to my go asking I be given the b12 every month.

My go says he is restricted but NHS guidelines , so can only give me every 3 months.

I went to go with reoccurance of all my symptoms and he wanted to send me to see a physchatrisr .i went Bach as he requested after 2 weeks , during this period my private guy gave me a b12shot.

I attended my gps surgery he asked what have I done as the change in me was clear.i told him I had a shot of b12 .

He gave me the look of who are you trying to kid.

He said I needed more blood test then if levels are low I can have more frequent, told private doctor who has told me about people having supposedly normal levels but still struggle .

He has asked me to buy some online and he will teach me how to administer it mysel

Thanks again
