I have a question about iodine as it is controversial

my iodine showed a little low such as 39 with a range of (52-109). Would that cause symptoms of weak and shaky, dizzy and off balance? I don't think i was using much salt back then as it was hurting my stomach so it is probably higher now as I am using light salt.

I think hair loss weight gain fatigue. You can use iodised salt in very small quantiles. Include it on your next lot of tests to see if a higher level. You have to be careful not to over do it. All very difficult to get the balance right. Too much not good too little. ..

It just seems that my levels are all really in the normal range or even if a little low they should not cause these kinds of severe symptoms.

MelanieV- iodine rather off topic for this forum.

low iodine will cause problems because of impact on thyroid function but no idea how relevant that is if you are being treated for hashis

suggest you repost on TUK
