Shakey achey arms and legs

Hey all - I have developed very achey arms and legs which at times feel shakey made worse by just carrying even a handbag and laptop around for work. Generally feel like I’ve done three hours in the gym. Makes me feel weak and weary most of the time. Would this be classed as neurological symptoms? I SI b12 regularly and have been referred to a neurologist (just to shut me up I think). Does anyone else suffer this in particular ? Many thanks in advance 😊

Yes, hello Mandy, I am all weak and shaky all over and very weak in the extremities. I was told to see a neurologist also which is not helping. I also have equilibrium and dizzy and lightheaded issues. I take methyl b12 in capsule form but maybe I am not absorbing it so I get my first injection on Tuesday. I am hoping it will help. Are u getting it by injection? I have high levels of b12 in my blood tests but still think I might have pernicious anemia. It’s awful as I cannot even function or barely get out of bed. I will pray for you to get better. Perhaps you are not taking enough or getting by injection? Keep in touch so we can compare notes.

Your symptoms should very similar to mine. Except my b12 level is 288 which is low. I was supplementing with 5000 a day for the past week and a half. Felt some difference but still having a lot of symptoms. So dr gave me my first injection this morning. Hopefully it will make more of a difference. She said I wouldn’t really be able to tell until tomorrow. .

Hi & yes. Not in my arms but legs ache & shake when walking down any steps.

Someone on here recommended magnesium tablets which I started to take again yesterday. Hope you get sorted as leg aches are no fun.

Yes. I shake after any trivial activity. As I'm only starting to do things like carrying the wash basket or walking round the block . Today I really ached everywhere. I think muscle weakness. My legs ache in bed too. Let's hope temporary. I class the sizzling head and stagger I still get at the end of the day now neurological symptoms. Shakiness too. Doestrogen seem to follow any pattern though. Some days I'm really not sure if my legs support me other days walk with no aches??
