Hi Balrajasal I don't think that it is anything unusual or to worry about. As you say, the impression marks go away after a time so it's quite a normal thing to happen.

Take care now.

Blarajasal, I think dianewilson1900 has confused you with another member of the forum which is why the response doesn't make that much sense

Are you managing to get enough fluids - sometimes dehydration can affect the resilience of the skin but it is also true that if you are wearing a belt or something for a while then the impression can take some time to clear.

I apologize I took this as a satirical remark and thought somone was being sarcastic with a "Its all in your head" tone to that statement. I apologize if I invalidated your experience. I never heard of such a thing with this type of skin situation but it doesn't mean your not experiencing it. Sorry sister...no offense. I thought you were someone else. 💜💙❤

Hi Balrajasal. Just another thought...to complicate matters even further...

Fluid retention (oedema) can cause the tissue under your skin to feel 'spongy' and perhaps look a little swollen or 'doughy'. If fluid retention is the cause, then imprints of clothing, socks, watch etc. may leave marks and indentations that eventually even out once the pressure has been removed.

A good way to tell between dehydration (the opposite of fluid retention) - pinch the skin on the area affected - if remains raised (like a little mound) and then settles down- then that's a sign of dehydration...as is dizziness, headache etc. (for more potential symptoms check out the internet).

Likewise, your can find out more about the symptoms of oedema (fluid retention) on the internet.

If you do think you have oedema and it continues it might be a good idea to discuss with your doctor, who can assess this in line with your full medical history.

Good luck 👍
