Before adequate treatment it would have been nagging at me that I hadn't replied to this post. But now I don't feel the need to. Or do I?
Definitely had anxiety, mood swings, and fear of leaving the house and obsessive thoughts. The worst resolved within months of receiving injections. After more than two years of treatment, my injections were increased to weekly and now anxiety attacks and other more subtle psychiatric symptoms have started to disappear.
Yes also had depression (at times suicidal), fear of leaving the house, anxiety, severe mood swings, obsessive and paranoid thoughts all gone with self managed B12 injections.
Where do you guys find b12 injections? I'm just taking methylcobalamin sublingual right now. Thanks in advance!
I self inject prescribed by my doctor. Kinda freaking out now (but I have a good reason) and trusting that I will have a better outlook tomorrow after my injection!
If you are in the US you can get injections without an Rx at a weight loss clinic/spa but they are around $15 per shot. With insurance, mine cost about $3 each.
Hi, I too find that regular B12 treatment helps a lot with anxiety and OCD symptoms. It helps to find the right dosage and frequency, and in times of high stress, to increase the frequency preventatively.
