My coeliac test came back negative but I'd like to see if there is something else going on such as damage from gluten etc. Does anyone know if and how I can self refer for a private scan of my gut etc?

I’m not sure but if you have a specialist in mind you’ll be able to google the contact number and ask the secretary.

I have managed to get my NHS GP to refer me for private tests so you could try that. Alternatively pay for a consultation with a private GP, possibly at a private hospital like Nuffield or Spire, and they can refer you for specialist tests if they agree it is appropriate.

The coeliac test is unreliable. If you are still having problems could you get your GP to refer you to an NHS gastroenterologist?

Private tests are very expensive.
