Why has my folate increased?

Have been taking sub-lingual B12 for a couple of months. Felt better than I have for 30 years. New blood results give an increase in B12 by 470 to 690 and folate from 5 to 21. Any ideas why folate has risen? By the way this site is fantastic, I have learned so much, thanks everyone!

Most likely because you had eaten more of it during the week before testing.

The amount we consume varies quite a bit and that gets reflected in the blood levels.

Thanks for that. I had never had a test for folate come back so high do was a little concerned!
