My first suggestion to you is to inject into your thigh instead of your arm . The surgeries use the arm because it is the most convenient place for them . Your thigh is easier for self-injection . You can alternate between the two . It presents a much larger surface area ( use the outer middle 1/3 area where the muscle is nearest the surface)
You will find that self injectors use the thigh .
Needles —I use medisave.uk but I believe you can get them from Amazon .
For withdrawing from ampoule you need a long needle 1 1/2 inch x 20 Gauge to reach and touch the bottom of the ampoule . I use a 1inch x 25 gauge for the injection , but it depends on the thickness of the fat layer on the thigh . If thick use a longer needle . You also need swabs and a sharps box for disposal . Look for a video on thigh injection on u tube . There are good and bad ones . Best of luck 🍀.and best wishes
I forgot to mention syringes , which you can also obtain from Medisave.com. You will need 2ml syringes , irrespective of whether you are using 1ml or 2ml ampoules of B12 .
Ok thank you so much
So basically I need 2 ml syringes
Long Needle to draw up the b12 from the ampule
Needle & syringe to do injection
I have swobs and sharpbox
Am I missing anything 😂
Is there a idiot proof guide from
Start to Finnish i.e. What to do from drawing up the b12 from ampules to what to do next and so on
Thanks
