Now Self Injecting!

I dropped a letter into the reception at my GP's surgery informing her that I was self injecting. I did this after calling QEUH to find out what was happening with the referral to Neurology...told I could be waiting another 13 weeks plus.

I have just emailed a complaint into health board asking why NHS staff are not aware that there are problems with the currently used serum test for Vitamin B12.

Hi good luck with the SI. It’s a doodle once you get the hang of it.

Neuro waiting times at QEUH are horrendous for all conditions. Something is not right there.

Thanks Siobhan1965. It wouldn't be so bad the wait if there was a bit more awareness. Even that the serum test is fairly useless after people begin getting injections.
