Hi does anyone know of a really good specialist in B12 deficiency/PA in the Devon or surrounding area? Could you inbox me any experience of specialists? Many thanks.

Hi, no I didn’t because to be honest, there isn’t anyone who seems to specialise in this area I’m the UK. It should be a haematologist but they just follow guidelines. I’ve spoken to a gastroenterologist, an endocrinologist and a haematologist and they said they didn’t know much about it. I researched it at length myself and joined a couple of good FB groups and this site and read ‘Could it be B12?’ and a Pernicious Anaemia Society book by Martyn Hooper, the head of the Pernicious Anaemia society. I have learnt so much from researching and always go armed with info to speak to my GP. Hope that helps.
