It depends , I think , on how long you have had the condition before treatment begins . It is so poorly diagnosed in the U.K. I certainly had PA for several years , and was only diagnosed because I consulted a private doctor . Even after that it was difficult to get enough injections . So I self -inject . I was able to rescue my numb feet , which now just have a burning sensation .
Early diagnosis is essential , but rarely happens .
