Sore tongue

Hi all I'm new. I have a sore tongue nothing shows why. I take b12 but last year I had heart valve replacement.

Any advice Dr gave me mouth was medication but not worked.

You may be short of folic acid.I had a sore tongue so started folic acid 400mcgs daily and it was gone within a week.I am also on VitB 12 injections 8wkly. Good luck

I had a sore tongue for years and when I asked doctors about it, no one had answers. After I started weekly injections, it gradually went away and only occasionally gives me a problem. I also started supplementing with folic acid around the same time, so I'm not sure if it was either or both, but it worked!!
