I've just gone to order some more injectable B12 from the German supplier on Amazon that I got it from last time, but the postage is now nearly £14!
Does anybody know of a cheaper way of getting this stuff?

Have you tried Versand Apo - versandapo.de/article/detai... - I've just had a look and it's €8 shipping (which is about £8 post-brexit).
The other thing you could try is buying in bulk. The shipping for 100 ampoules of my preferred brand (1.500 ug of hydroxocobalamin) is also €8 - so that would save €72 over buying in single batches!
Thanks fbirder. As regards buying in bulk, I am injecting every other week. How well does this stuff last?
The last lot of hydroxocobalamin I got from them had an expiry date two years from purchase date. As cyanocobalamin is supposed to be more stable then I'd guess it would be at least as long.
Here's 100 1 mg in 1 ml ampoules for less than €50 shipped. versandapo.de/article/detai... - even if you had to throw away 25% of them you'd probably still save money.
Try vitaminb12direct they have 10.00 flat rate shipping. Good service.
I get all my B12, BComplex and Lipotropics from vitasupplyshop.com and they ship overseas.
Buying in bulk definitely overcomes the increased shipping costs so I am wondering about trying to organize a bulk buy. Say 5 of us taking 2 x 10 1 ML ampules. Anybody interested?
I'm not sure about the legality of that. In effect you would be selling prescription medicines without a licence. However, some companies seem to get around the laws by pretending that they're not selling medicines.
I would do a little more digging around first.
I'm not sure that five people coming together to save on postage would constitute an offence. At least not one that would stand up in a court.
Despite the ridiculous situation where we can't buy injectable B12 in the UK, it is a vitamin, and I could see the press having a field day if somebody was prosecuted for facilitating a group buy of such.
If anything did come of a group buy, it would make an excellent platform for the campaign to have injectable B12 made available in the UK. I still want to know how it can be for sale in one EU member state, and not another.
Oh, I agree that it would almost certainly not end up in court. But I did feel that I should point out the possible pitfalls. Some people have jobs that could be affected quite badly by any sort of trouble with the law.
As for press involvement. I can see them just as easily publishing headlines about illegal importation and supply of drugs.
The reason it can be on sale in one EU state and not others is that this is, like almost all of our legislation, decided by our government. The EU, as with most things in the UK, has no influence whatsoever.
But I think it's a good idea, personally.
